This is my first real blog posting.
We have had our son Mark and his son Yu-Jin here from Perth W.A. They have been here nearly a week, and I can't believe how the time has flown . They have been to our small holding at Naracoorte, which is 80Kms from here, south. Yu-Jin was very excited about seeing the sheep. My husband Neville showed him how a sheep is shorn, then helped him crutch a lamb.
Later, when they went into the irrigation channel,to cool off their feet, Yu-Jin tried to walk in the water and slipped over. The water is very cold. Unfortuneately, he did not have a change of clothes, but on such a hot day, it didn't really matter.
The farm, as we call it, is only 90 acres, and we have had it nearly three years. It does not have a house on it, and probably never will while we own it.
