Recently, my son, Frugal Bastard, had a posting on his blog about a lottery scam from Spain. I received a pack of 'post cards' in the mail today and in it is one for a lottery called Euromillions. It emanated from Double Bay in Sydney. All I have to do is order my FREE information pack and I will be automatically entered in to the $9.000.000.00 Bonus draw. I still have my doubts about it, even though it is not asking for money.

By replying to this obvious scam you are supplying valuable personal details enabling them to better target you at a later date. If something appears too good to be true then it is too good to be true. Who can run a business offering $9m in prizes and having it cost more to get the entrants enrolled than they need to cover their expenses and stay in business? Steer clear of this sort of rubbish. Just collect the stamps, if they provide any.
I must be getting old, or is it you? I did not say I was sending away for anything to do with this scam!!! Give me some credit! There were no stamps. They came in a celophane 'envelope'.
"By replying to ..." - means "if" you reply to. I didn't say that you had. Settle down. Bugger, so you missed out on the stamps too.
